Regional Sales Manager • Fort Worth, TX

Position Overview:

Regional Sales Manager

Business Aviation Engine MRO | Texas Territory

Drive Growth. Build Relationships. Influence the Future of Business Aviation.

Are you a proven aviation sales leader with deep relationships across the business aviation community? Do you thrive on building strategic partnerships, closing complex deals, and helping operators maximize aircraft availability and performance?

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across the Texas market for one of the industry’s premier aircraft engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) providers. This is an opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to leverage an established network, influence key customer decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor to corporate flight departments, aircraft management companies, charter operators, MROs, and aircraft owners throughout the region.

In this role, you will own and grow a multi-million-dollar territory, developing long-term customer relationships while driving revenue across engine, component, module, and accessory MRO services. You will work directly with aviation executives, directors of maintenance, chief pilots, fleet managers, and aircraft owners to deliver solutions that maximize fleet reliability and operational efficiency.

This position offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to directly impact business growth within a respected and growing aviation organization.

Why This Role?

  • Lead business development efforts in one of the nation’s most active business aviation markets.
  • Represent a recognized and trusted aircraft engine MRO provider.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers throughout the aviation industry.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape territory strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Influence major maintenance decisions for sophisticated aviation operators.
  • Leverage a robust portfolio of engine and maintenance solutions.
  • Travel throughout Texas while engaging directly with customers, operators, aircraft owners, and industry leaders.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentive opportunities.

What You’ll Do

As the face of our organization throughout Texas, you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan that increases revenue, market share, and profitability.
  • Expand relationships with corporate flight departments, aircraft management companies, charter operators, OEM partners, brokers, FBOs, and maintenance organizations.
  • Identify and capture high-value MRO opportunities across aircraft engine programs, repairs, overhauls, and related services.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing technical and commercial guidance on maintenance planning, engine events, repair strategies, and lifecycle management.
  • Build executive-level relationships that drive long-term customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, NBAA activities, trade shows, customer meetings, and aviation networking events.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, market intelligence, and competitive insights that support strategic business decisions.

What Makes You Successful

You are more than a salesperson. You are a relationship builder, strategic thinker, and aviation professional who understands how maintenance decisions are made and how to influence them.

Qualifications

  • You likely bring:
    • 7+ years of successful aviation sales, business development, or account management experience.
    • A strong reputation and established network within the Texas business aviation market.
    • Experience selling aircraft engine MRO services, aviation maintenance solutions, OEM programs, aircraft services, or related aviation products.
    • A track record of exceeding revenue goals and developing long-term customer partnerships.
    • The ability to engage everyone from Directors of Maintenance and Chief Pilots to CEOs, aircraft owners, and executive leadership teams.
    • Strong knowledge of turbine engines, maintenance planning, and the business aviation operating environment.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

      Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a respected aviation industry professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for business development. You have built credibility within the business aviation community, understand the technical and commercial aspects of engine maintenance, and enjoy creating lasting partnerships that drive growth for both your customers and your organization.

You are known for opening doors, identifying opportunities before your competitors, and consistently delivering results.

This is an opportunity to own a market, influence strategy, and play a key role in the continued growth of a leading business aviation engine MRO organization.

      Key changes made:

    • Shifted the focus from duties to career opportunity and market leadership.
    • Added language that appeals to senior-level sales professionals (executive relationships, strategic influence, market ownership, trusted advisor).
    • Emphasized network, autonomy, visibility, and impact, which are often more important to senior sales leaders than task lists.
    • Increased perceived prestige by focusing on the Texas aviation market, industry relationships, and growth responsibility.
    • Positioned the role as a business development leadership opportunity, not just an account management role.
