TES Appoints Rick Pataky as Chief Executive Officer

Fort Worth, TX, October 19th, 2026 – Turbine Engine Specialists (TES) is pleased to announce Rick Pataky as Chief Executive Officer.

Rick brings decades of aviation, aerospace, and MRO leadership experience to TES, along with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, developing new business capabilities, and serving customers across the global aviation industry.

Most recently, Rick served as Vice President & General Manager at StandardAero, leading three U.S. sites. Before that, he served as Vice President of Operations at Vector Aerospace, overseeing teams across six locations in the United States, Canada, and Brazil, and was appointed to Vector Aerospace’s Board of Directors, where he served until the company’s acquisition by StandardAero.

Rick spent 25 years with Rolls-Royce in a variety of leadership and operational roles, including launching new MRO businesses supporting business aviation, commercial airlines, and defense customers worldwide.

His aviation experience extends beyond executive leadership. Rick served as an Experimental Flight Test Engineer during the development of the Gulfstream IV aircraft, logging nearly 1,000 flight hours in the aircraft. He is also a 10-year U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a Helicopter Combat Aircrew member in various roles.

Rick holds a degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Camden University, and a Finance Accreditation from George Mason University.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rick is the founder of Payson’s Pride, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families raising children with special needs, a reflection of his commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
