Position Overview:
Logbook Research Analyst are professionals responsible for maintaining, organizing, and verifying logbook related records. Main duties include ensuring compliance with FAA regulatory standards, tracking maintenance and updating data accurately. Attention to detail and knowledge of relevant regulations are key skills for Logbook analysts.
Key Responsibilities
As a logbook research analyst, you will be auditing compliance of repeat turbine engine inspections and component changes and ensure they are tracking at correct time intervals.
Review and research of engine logbooks and other related records, as they pertain to the repair and overhaul or servicing of turbine engines, components, parts and accessories.
Review, analyze, and prepare engine records, including logbooks and compile the information for the applicable engine.
- Verify Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletin compliance.
- Verify for accuracy engine component hours and cycles.
- Verify Engine modification status.
- Create, enter and update data into database tracking systems.
- Responsible for accuracy by internal auditing procedures.
- Assist in support of other Quality Control functions as required.
- Relay the project status/research and report any discrepancies to the applicable team leader/manager.
- Additional duties as needed by Quality Manager.
Qualifications
- FAA airframes & power plant license (preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to evaluate problems and form solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and various other computer programs.
- Must be able to work independently while performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas with peers, team leaders and management.

- Exposure to prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and keyboard input.
- This is a FAA safety-sensitive position.
- Maintains control under lock and key of logbooks as required
- Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations
- Lift at least 25lbs.
